Peter M. Famiglio, D.M.D.

Dr. Famiglio is a native of Southeastern Pennsylvania. He has been practicing since 1987. His undergraduate studies were completed at Boston College in 1980, where he received his degree in Chemistry with a minor in Mathematics and Economics. Dental School was completed at Temple University School of Dentistry in 1984. While at Temple University, Dr. Famiglio was the president of the Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery Honor Society. He was also the recipient of the coveted and prestigious "International College of Dentists Achievement Award". Dr. Famiglio completed his Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery training at St. Luke's/Roosevelt Trauma Center in Manhattan. During his internship and residency, he developed a passionate interest in both dental implants (placing thousands since), and trauma & reconstructive surgery. He completed his training in 1988.

Dr. Famiglio practiced in New Jersey for three years prior to establishing Brandywine Oral & Maxillofacial Surgical Group in 1991. He has developed the Brandywine Oral Continuing Education Group and is certified by the Pennsylvania Academy of General Dentistry. Dr. Famiglio provides continuing education lectures, courses and credits to area Dentists, Dental Hygienists and Dental Assistants. He maintains an active teaching program with the goal of providing the areas professionals with the state required educational needs. As a CPR instructor, Dr. Famiglio certified over 350 local professionals and their staff in 2004. Dr. Famiglio is certified in Advanced Cardiac Life Support and Pediatric Advanced Life Support.

Dr. Famiglio has many interests and hobbies, including music, bicycling, running and cross-country skiing. Most important is his family.
